A Finished Spinning Project: Gotland

Earlier in the week I posted about the Gotland I was spinning for the April Breed Study by Sherrill of the 1764 Shepherdess.

For this particular fiber, I spun worsted on my Schacht Sidekick and chain plied, also known as Navajo plied,  on my Schacht Ladybug.  I ended up with 65 yards of worsted weight yarn that is soft and springy.

I pleased with my result as I wanted to spin a little more thicker than my normal fine spinning, achieve a worsted weight yarn and achieve at least 50 yards.  The only negative, I wish I had spun just a little finer for more yardage as I have no idea what I will do with this finished skein.

Until next time ~ stay creative!
